BIOGRAPHY-PERSONAL/BUSINESS
Amid his demanding business schedule Steven was available for others and developed a desire to give back to the community. He supported small businesses simply by ordering goods from them. When employing staff, he found it particularly rewarding to give younger people a “fair go” and an opportunity to thrive.

Steven adopted his own little boy in the shape of a beautiful black Labrador named “Magnus.” He had spent 12 months training the pup for the Guide Dogs Association, but Magnus did not make the grade. After years of cherishing the constant company of his best mate, Steven was devastated when he passed in 2021, and misses him greatly.
Another beneficiary of Steven’s generosity was the Make-A-Wish Foundation which accepted his offer to take seriously ill children on joy rides in his hot rod cars.
Steven registered with Australian Business Volunteers and was sent to Hanoi in Vietnam for three months to help an international company with marketing. The company hired people experiencing disadvantage and needed more work to keep them employed.
Steven also volunteered to help grow a family business in the Solomon Islands for three months.
